No-Bake Malteser Biscuits

Makes 10, Prep time 20 minutes

These deliciously sugary biscuits are my go-to when I don’t have a lot of time to bake. (Note: They do require a couple of hours refrigeration time.) They are the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea or coffee & I’m yet to find someone who doesn’t try and sneak a second one…If you think this will be the case for you, why not double the below mixture.


Ingredients:

100g unsalted butter
200g maltesers
200g milk chocolate (I prefer Cadbury dairy milk)
200g digestive biscuits
2 tbsp golden syrup
50g white chocolate (to drizzle)

Method:

  1. Melt butter and chocolate together & stir into a glossy chocolatey mixture.

  2. Chop maltesers into quarters and add to the chocolate mixture.

  3. Crush digestives separately and add to the bowl too.

  4. Stir in the golden syrup and mix well.

  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking tin & refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

  6. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the top then serve.
