The Boulevardier
Like a Negroni, but with whiskey. Created during Prohibition, it was the favourite drink of an American who went to Paris and started a magazine aptly named, The Boulevardier. This classic is usually made with equal parts of three liquors, but I’ve punched up the bourbon a bit, because why not.
INGREDIENTS
30ml (1oz) Sweet Vermouth
30ml Campari
45ml Bourbon
Lemon/Orange peel
METHOD
Pour all liquors into a tall mixing glass and add a few pieces of broken up ice
Stir until the liquids are cold and the mixing glass is slightly frosted
Pour into a coupe or tumbler
Garnish with lemon or orange peel
